About Michelle Schindler

I have been drawing since my childhood in northern Minnesota . Throughout my live I have had the opportunity to study under very talented and inspiring artists at institutions including the Walker and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

I now live in rural Carver County Minnesota with my family. I still work part-time as a graphic artist for an international software company. Fortunately I am able to devote some of my free time to drawing portraits - which is remarkably rewarding for me. I truly enjoy capturing the individual personality of each person or animal.
